Who we are
Pundit (soccerpundit.online) is an AI-powered football intelligence platform accessible globally. We help fans track competitions, analyse fixtures, generate predictions, and engage with football through a personalised AI experience.

What we collect; and why
We collect only what we need to make Pundit work well for you.
Account information
When you create an account with email and password, we store your email address and a hashed (non-readable) version of your password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google display name, email address, and profile avatar; nothing else. We use this to identify your account, send transactional emails, and personalise your experience.
Preferences and activity
We store the competitions, teams, players, and tournaments you follow, along with any alerts you create. We also store your Pundit AI conversations, match predictions, poll votes, and leaderboard participation. We use this to power your personalised feed and help the Pundit give contextually relevant answers. Aggregated, anonymised patterns across users may be used to improve Pundit's forecast quality; never in a way that identifies you individually.
Usage data
We collect standard technical information: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and time spent. We use this to keep the site running, diagnose errors, and improve the product.
Advertising; Google AdSense
Pundit displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google uses cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website and other websites across the internet. A cookie is set on your device when you view a Google ad, and Google's advertising ID may connect your activity across sites that use AdSense.
You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time at google.com/settings/ads.

Pundit Pro subscribers do not see third-party advertisements.
Affiliate programmes
Pundit participates in affiliate programmes with sports betting operators and fantasy sports platforms. Some links; always clearly labelled as Sponsored or Affiliate; may earn us a commission if you click through and register. Partners may include Betway, Bet365, SportyBet, Sorare, and similar regulated operators. We only work with licensed operators. We do not receive commissions based on the size of bets placed; only on registrations.
Gambling carries financial risk. Only bet what you can afford to lose. Help is available at BeGambleAware.org or 0808 8020 133 (UK).
Cookies
- Essential cookies; keep you signed in and remember preferences. Required for the site to function.
- Analytics cookies (with consent); Google Analytics, to understand how Pundit is used. Persists up to 2 years.
- Advertising cookies (with consent); set by Google AdSense to serve personalised ads.
Manage preferences via the banner on first visit or by emailing hello@soccerpundit.online. Withdrawing advertising consent means less relevant ads, not no ads (unless you are a Pro subscriber).
We do not use cookies to track you for purposes unrelated to delivering or improving Pundit.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. Ever.
We share only where necessary to operate the service:
- Google; authentication, advertising (AdSense), analytics
- Base44; the infrastructure platform powering Pundit's backend
- Lovable; the application framework for Pundit's frontend
- football-data.org; fixture data API (no personal data shared)
- Affiliate partners; receive only a confirmation that a registration occurred; you provide your data to them directly
We do not share your email, prediction history, or chat data with any third party for commercial purposes.
Your rights
Access; Request a copy of all data we hold about you. Correction; Ask us to fix inaccurate data. Deletion; Delete your account instantly from Settings. This removes your profile, followed leagues and teams, alerts, predictions, votes, and all Pundit chat history. Portability; Request an export of your data in machine-readable format. Objection; Object to analytics or advertising processing by withdrawing cookie consent. Withdrawal of consent; Withdraw at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

Regional notes
EU (GDPR); Legal basis for account/preference processing: performance of contract. Legal basis for analytics and advertising: consent via cookie banner.
South Africa (POPIA); We comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013. You may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
United Kingdom (UK GDPR); We comply with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
California (CCPA); We do not sell personal information. California residents have the right to know what is collected, to delete it, and to opt out of sale (which we do not engage in).
Data security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls at the infrastructure level. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we take it seriously.
Children
Pundit is not directed at children under 13. Affiliate betting content is intended only for users aged 18 and over. If we become aware of data collected from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
Material changes will update the date at the top of this page. Registered users will be notified by email where appropriate.
