An independent AI football desk.
Pundit is an editorial product, not a club, not a broadcaster, not a betting site. We pair a small editorial team with calibrated models to write a daily brief that holds up under scrutiny.
Small independent team. Editorial direction by the founder; AI takes generated by a hand-tuned prompt stack reviewed daily. No automated publishing without a human read.
Neutral across leagues, clubs and regions. No paid placements inside takes. Affiliate links — where shown — are labelled and never influence model output.
Each take is generated from a structured prompt that ingests the latest fixture, form, table, and (when available) lineup data. A human reviews tone and accuracy before publication.
Fixtures, scores, standings and scorers from football-data.org. Editorial copy and AI analysis our own. Full source list on /attributions.
How calibrated are we?
We publish a running track-record of every probabilistic forecast we make — match outcomes, title odds, top-four, drop. Brier score and calibration curves are recomputed nightly. When a model drifts, we flag it on the page rather than rewrite history.
Track-record dashboard ships with the next release; until then the headline brier is exposed via the live accuracy badge at the top of the home page.
What we will never do
- · Republish anyone else's broadcast or paid editorial as our own.
- · Show ads on screens used primarily for navigation, per Google publisher policy.
- · Push betting promotions to users who haven't opted in or whose region restricts gambling content.
- · Sell personal data. The free tier runs on contextual ads and lightweight affiliate revenue.
